My client is a leading M&E hard services delivery company who is looking to recruit a Technical manager to work in a city location looking after a critical environment. The Technical manager will be responsible for all aspects of first line support. The successful Technical manager will liaise with the client’s IT department to arrange regular shut downs. The Technical manager will be a Chartered engineer or at least working towards that status. The core responsibility of the technical manager with be to maintain uptime, maintain the UPS, backup generators and data suites. The Technical manager will be first on call to ensure communication is kept between the team and the client teams. The technical manager will be responsible for up skilling the team, arranging training etc. The Technical manager with be the authorising engineer for the HV critical element of the contract. The successful Technical manager will have the opportunity to join a great growing sociable team with the hunger to succeed. This is a progressive role and will suit a Technical manager with the desire to move with the times.
