Electrical Maintenance Engineer (Lifts/Inspections)
Overview
Experienced Electrical Inspector with Lift Contracts experience required to join Regeneration Department of Local Authority based in East London.
General Duties:
The Electrical/Lift Engineer will assist in the supervision of a range of term and other maintenance contracts servicing public buildings and schools.
Operating within a multi skilled maintenance team, the work will involve inspections, condition monitoring, work planning, production of technical reports, cost & quality control, dealing with enquiries and liaising with a range of specialist and non technical staff.
General recruitment criteria:
•The Electrical Inspector will have a thorough knowledge and understanding of Electrical services and systems across a wide spectrum including Lifts and Access platforms.
•The Electrical Inspector will hold a technician level Electrical Engineering Certificate such as ONC/ City & Guilds or equivalent
•The Electrical Inspector will hold 16th Edition Certificate and ideally hold or be working towards their 17th Edition Certificate
•The Electrical Inspector will hold a full driving licence and have a vehicle available for work
•The Electrical Inspector will be familiar with Health & Safety at Work Act and have an understanding of CDM Regulations
•The Electrical Inspector will be computer literate with a knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Access
